Teachers modify instruction to help them advance …
“St. Jerome School has impressed me in multiple ways and I will never regret that we send our children there. The small class sizes means students are given individual time and attention by the teachers. Whether the child is a slow reader or a fast reader, for example, the teachers modify instruction to help them advance. Teachers communicate with parents to keep them aware of progress, positive moments, and opportunities for growth.
Expectations are high for proper manners and behavior, and as a parent I appreciate this because it reinforces what we are teaching at home. Through values and lessons taught at St. Jerome, my sons have become respectful of others and conscious of opportunities to help others.
Also, students at St. Jerome School start reading at Mass in 1st grade. This teaches students public speaking and leadership skills, and builds their confidence. Attending Mass regularly also gives students the ability to sit and listen, something too often undervalued.
St. Jerome teaches students academic skills that will be with them throughout their education and careers. Students learn how to be leaders in the comfort of a family atmosphere. They will leave the school ready to face challenges and be successful young adults.
For all these reasons I would make the choice to send our kids to St. Jerome again. Every time.” ~ Anne Raeder
The quality of the education is top notch …
"I am EXTREMELY happy with our decision to have all our kids attend St Jerome's. The quality of the education is top notch, and the spiritual development is a joy to watch. We routinely have discussions about Faith at the dinner table. I also commend St. Jerome's School for maintaining discipline with the students; the dress code, participation in Mass, and regular contact from teachers help make it clear to the kids that our family values are reinforced at school. I also appreciate the programs that foster social development like the Grand-buddy program. It is essential for future generations to have a connection with those who have made their current education and community possible. I Praise and thank God for St. Jerome's School." ~ Chris Roelke
We were looking for a school with a sense of community …
“My wife and I chose to enroll our daughter at St. Jerome School after she attended Columbus Preschool and we’re extremely pleased that we did! We were looking for a school with a sense of community. The families here look out for one another and are committed to providing our children with a safe and caring learning environment. Families are encouraged to be active partners in their children’s education.
Now both of our children have been attending St. Jerome School for many years and they love it too! Communication with the teachers and other staff is easy, as they make themselves readily available to talk with us. The classrooms often engage in activities together which provides the students with a dynamic opportunity to learn alongside children of different ages.
We’re glad we enrolled our children at St. Jerome’s and we’d encourage you to give them a chance too!” ~The Forsters
They prepared her far better than we could have imagined…
"Parents, many times, wonder if we are making the right choices for our children. Deciding which school to choose for your family is no different. Our three daughters attended St. Jerome School through 8th grade. We have no doubt that their success in and out of the classroom has been directly impacted by the education they received here. The faculty at St. Jerome School has prepared them far better than we could have imagined. They received an incredible education as their teachers gave them the opportunity, confidence, and wisdom to go out in the world and make a difference. We are very grateful for the Christ-centered environment that reinforced our family values and helped build their character. Our children were taught with love, to take responsibility, to love their faith, and to have respect, trust, and compassion. Those are building blocks for a happy and successful life.” ~ Brian & Cindy Schroedl
