EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS
These ministers represent and serve the unity of the Mystical Body of Christ by assisting the Pastor in the distribution of Holy Communion at Mass and/or to the sick and home bound. A Eucharistic Minister must be a confirmed Catholic.
LECTORS
Lectors are readers that proclaim the Word of God to the assembly at weekend and daily Masses. High School students and adults who have gifts and skills in public communication and reading are invited to this important ministry.
USHERS
Ushers serve our parish in many ways during the Mass, including greeting people as they enter church, taking up the collection during Mass, directing the assembly in the procession for Holy Communion, and handing out bulletins. High school students and adults are welcome to this ministry.
ALTAR SERVERS
Altar servers provide assistance to the priest throughout the Mass and add an element of importance to our celebrations of the Eucharist. Servers can begin to serve in 4th grade. It is extra special to see parents and their children serving at the same liturgy.
GIFT BEARERS
Individuals, couples, and families may serve as gift bearers. Gift bearers carry the bread and wine to the altar during Mass and present them to the priest. He receives these gifts and calls on the Holy Spirit to change them into the Body and Blood of Christ. Gift bearers represent the community as we offer ourselves to Christ.
