Academics

Our students in grades K-5 are taught in self-contained classrooms. To compliment academic instruction, the subjects of art, music, and physical education are taught by specialized teachers.

Teachers use the Diocese of Madison’s approved Curriculum Standards to develop their individual class curriculum. Learning objectives for each grade level are then carefully developed within the guidance provided by the Curriculum Standards. This process provides teachers flexibility in developing a learning program geared to the ability levels of their students in a given year. Our consistently high STAR Assessment scores verify that this is a successful approach to curriculum development and implementation.
